Knight wins Osage Freestyle Tournament. Klinkel and Banach place second.

Taylor Knight finished the day undefeated at the Osage Freestyle Tournament held April 29th at Osage, IA. Joe Klinkel and Riley Banach each finished the day with one loss to claim second place medals. Alec Johnson wrestled in his freestyle tournament and fell short of placing.

Klinkel and Banach wrestled at the Belle Plaine Freestyle Tournament. Banach finishes third.

Members of Team Storm competed in their first freestyle tournament on April 15th. Junior Joe Klinkel competed at 189 and wrestled a lot of tough matches as he adjusted to the new weight class. Freshman Riley Banach competed at the 171 Cadet division and wrestled his way to a third place finish.

Knight and Olinger compete at Brute Adidas Nationals. Knight finishes as All-American with a 5th place showing at 189.

Taylor Knight and Alex Olinger competed at the Brute Adidas Nationals in Omaha, Nebraska on April 1st and 2nd. Sophomore Olinger competed for the first time at heavy-weight and had a good showing with three tough matches. Knight, competing at 189, finished with a 5-2 record over the two-day tournament. The sophomore finished 5th out of 20 wrestlers from across the country. His efforts were rewarded with his first All-American status. Congratulations! We look forward to seeing good things in the near-future from these two student athletes.
